Gran Via (Barcelona)

Gran Via - is a second major business district of Barcelona, after Diagonal Mar. Part of Fira de Barcelona, second largest trade fair and exhibition centres in Europe.[1] Lies on borderline of Barcelona, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat. Gran Via business center consists some parts: Gran Via with 240,000 m² of exhibition floor space divided into 8 pavillions,[2] Gran Via Convention Centre, with a capacity of 5,600 delegates and 14,000 m² surface area,[3] skyscrapers alongside Plaza de Europa, with over ten skyscrapers and Gran Vía 2 near Barcelona International Airport, shop center propertied 200 shops, 20 restaurants, 15 cinemas and hypermarket.[4] Also, it adjacent to Ciutat de la Justícia de Barcelona i l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, hosts most of the legal departments of the Barcelona metropolitan area.

Public transport

The "Gran Via" center is served by line 8 of the Barcelona Metro and FGC commuter train network, at the Europa-Fira station, and also by the bus line 79.
